I'm lactose intolerant.

If i told you I'm lactose intolerant...you would think I'm kidding you, since you have seen me stuff my face with ice-cream before. Yes, sadly i am. I'm a strange kinda lactose intolerant victim. I can have some dairy once in the blue moon. So, you will see me having an ice-cream or gelato usually on a Friday night so i have the weekend to recuperate. I call it "Dairy Friday".
So, with this sad curse of mine...I take my dairy consumption very seriously and not to mention passionately. I'm always looking for some very good gelato so it's worth my "the day after" : )
With all that said...I found Talenti in my local favorite grocery store. I was craving for something different and my eye caught the word Malaysian. Being a Malaysian, I can usually spot the word Malaysian anywhere and it brings such warm comfort and memories of my homeland.
Talenti does a great selection of gelato and sorbets. I immediately bought "Malaysian Mango" and "Sicilian Pistachio". They are both incredibly delicious. The Malaysian Mango sorbet is light, dairy free and not to mention fat free too. It's so refreshing. It's going to be my new favorite.
Try it. You will love it.

I got hooked on their products over the holidays, when they had eggnog gelato available. Definitely worth it.

I just saw this is the store last night. Good to know it's tasty. My fiance is lactose intolerant. We purchase Soy Delicious, yum.

bummer for me...i saw this in a store a few weeks ago and got really excited. i bought the chocolate and hazelnut flavor, and it was a total letdown! i'll take ciao bella over talenti any day. this was ice crea, though, so maybe the sorbet is better.

i found you via tastespotting - i've tried the talenti almond gelato and was sorely disappointed. and at $9/pint, ripped off as well! altogether too sweet and grainy and not as smooth as il laboratorio or ciao bella.
