Holiday Yummies
My sister (Sumathi) was visiting from home (Malaysia). So, these photos were taken by her. I was especially careful teaching this class since she was around and she will be reporting back to my mother who is my cooking guru. But, guess what...i made like 2 mistakes...now, she is going to tell on me : )
Anyway, holiday treats were awesome. My students enjoyed making and eating them. It's always fun to enjoy food with good eaters. I love it when my friends clean their plates up and ask for 3rd's. The shrimp stuff mushroom were simply easy and delicious. The chicken curry puff pastry...how can you go wrong with that. It's so versatile. Cook it for stuffing or over rice.
So, i'm staying at my Michael and Eric's until my new house is done building. Date of complition...Dec. 21st. I simply cannot wait to teach my next class in year 2008 at my new house. You are going to love my kitchen. I put a lot of design thought into it. It's designed to be in the heart of the house. The heart, where its the center of your soul and well being, as it should be comforted with good food and memories. Come see my new kitchen in my new house and take a class in February 2008 (date yet TBD). But for now...i have attached a progress of the kitchen. Want to see more on the house...go here: http://gallery.mac.com/michaelongline#100024&bgcolor=black
Have wonderful holiday and don't forget the true meaning of this season.
See you next year at my new place.
