Pass me the Potatoes.

I know most of you will be dying with curiosity to know what I cooked for Thanksgiving. And yes, I did full spread of a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Never did a full spread before but so, I was requested by my best friend Michael to do the whole shebang. It was fabulous. A lot of work but it was worth while. I wanted to do a Chuck Williams (of Williams Sonoma) inspired theme. So, lot's of the dishes are William Sonoma inspired with a few that I fusionized. So, it had a little of my touch in it too. Then turkey was cooked in apple cider, maple sugar and lot's of sage, thyme and marjoram. I think my favorite dish that night was the garlic mashed potatoes with turkey bacon. It was the hipping load of butter in it that made it so yummy.
Lesson I learned this Thanksgiving...is plan and organize. It makes it all so less stressful when it's all organized. My mom always said that too. Planning makes it all smooth sailing and not to mentioned delicious too. Planning with lots' of love makes it more delicious.
Happy Holiday Season.
