Dumplings on a Sunday afternoon.

Okay, so who said dumplings are hard to make. Ask my students...they would say it was as easy as making a peanut butter jelly sandwich : ). We had a great class. It was a small group on a cool Sunday afternoon...and it was perfect. Intimate and relaxing, just like how l like my dumplings. My students enjoyed it very much. They even learned to make a Malaysian salad dish called "gado-gado" with peanut sauce dressing. One thing, i'm learning as i teach is how amazing cooking is when it comes to exploring different flavors. How you can blend flavors and create a whole different set of dishes.
With that said, i'm posting my October/November classes:

Sunday, Oct. 15: Lemon Grass Chicken in lettuce wraps and Baby Bok-Choy with Oyster Sauce and crispy garlic

Sunday, Nov. 5: Chicken Masala and Coconut Rice

$30 a person-per class (includes recipe and sample meal). Classes are limited to 10 people. Paid reservations are due the Tuesday before each class. Please write to me if you have any questions.

Till the next time..."selamat makan" (Good eating or enjoy your meal in Malay).

I had a little tasting from the left-over after I got back from my trip and the little dumplings are simply devine. Good job on the wrapping, fellow students. Thumbs up!
